Brett Bordelon/swamp rd in Prairieville came to my home on October 4, 2021 to give me an estimate for Ida damage. He toured the damage and said he would email me an email. A few days went buy didn’t hear back. Called him again said he would email something. On this date October 28 still don’t have an estimate & I told him I needed one for Fema. I PAID 50% OF THE COST AS DEPOSIT IN DECEMBER. THE ROOFING PART OF THE JOB WAS DONE TOWARDS THE BEGINNING OF MARCH. I CALLED A COUPLE OF TIMES ASKING WHEN THE COMPLETE JOB WOULD BE PERFORMED. I WAS TOLD "SOON." ABOUT A WEEK LATER A WORKER SHOWED UP APPARENTLY TO DO DO WORK ON FACIA. I CALLED THEM ABOUT THE GUTTER. THEY SAID IT WOULD BE "SOON". I was lied to about the dates to start and complete the job. I explained to them that if they couldn’t do it in the allotted dates then please don’t make a false promise due to the fact that I had another company ready to start. Garcia promised me that all of the people that would be performing my job was their employees that are local, trained, and certified through them. That was a lie. It went well until it didn't....at first things were going well, not exactly what was promised by the salesman but good enough. The most bothersome issue was the lack of an on-site project manager, no one was there to relay what was being done or that could take comments and questions from me, it was just a crew that did not communicate with me. The work never never started. The estimator rescheduled twice, after the estimate, refused to provide estimate without going over in person at a later time. I have scheduled 3 times to meet with the estimator. He has skipped each appointment. Don't waste your time.

We paid half $ for a roof repair and never heard back! Going on a month now! Called the company and was assured the job would be done the “next week” after our call. Never heard back again! Terrible company! Trying to get our money back now so we can hire another roofing company.

Initial visit from estimator went well. Project quote was a little higher than another company, but decided to go with Garcia because they had done a good job on our roof years ago. Called to schedule install and was told that the estimate was higher than initially quoted by about $100. I had already given a deposit for half of the cost of the project and was told that they would honor the original contract price because it was their fault. I called 2 companies for bids. at the same time. Garcia and also a very well know roofing company. Garcia immediately called me back and scheduled an appointment. Within a week they came out determined the damage and also fix the leak. It has been 2 weeks and I just now received the bid from the other well know roofing company. They inflated the price by $300 dollars and insisted that I needed additional unnecessary work for another $2500! Garcia is reliable, have quality work and most importantly HONEST!
