The rooms would not work for me. Oddly shaped. I’m going on another tour there next month. They will have a 2 bedroom yhst may work for me.

Exceptional facility. [name removed], an excellent representative, presented the many attributes very well. Dining hall and community rooms, both newly refurbished, were bright and beautifully decorated. The apartment we visited was perfect, plus having its own terrace was lovely.

Pleasant experience. Reasonably priced. Very accommodatfng. Activity services well rounded. Opportunities to upgrade to assisted living from independent living very reasonable. Lots of outside access for walking.

The whole staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to assist me. The facility looked very clean and seems like it might be a good fit for my mom.

Staff is very accommodating. I don't get "care" so cannot comment. Management has changed and it seems since going from a non-profit to a profit business there are budget restraints. I notice it in the food department and the entertainment.

Gateway Park ASSISTED Living in Poway, CA is working out well for us. It is much smaller (fewer than 60 residents) than the place my mom used to be in [community removed], and everyone is much more attentive to my mom's needs

The tour that I and my daughter had was thorough enough for me to make a decision about this being included in my favorites for my future. I looked at two independent living apartments. The first was not suitable with very high cabinets in the kitchen. The second was more appropriate. Pricing was excellent but I did not see any other independent living residents while I was there. This is our family’s first experience with an assisted living facility and Pacifica Gateway is proving to be a great fit for our loved one. The studio is cozy and well maintained by housekeeping. The staff is caring and meeting all of my mom’s needs. It’s nice to see the facility being updated and there is just enough activities they offer up. My experience has been fine with the staff. The facility has undergone recent improvements to all common areas. PS I have recently switched from independent living to 55+ I know longer need the amenities of IL.
