Mom is very happy at Gateway. It really suits her. The food is good. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly. We've been nothing but pleased there
The place is a dump. Old, smelly, dirty. I wouldn't live there if someone else paid me. The entry was not inviting; the person at the desk was not friendly.
I was very disappointed in Gateway. It is very old, run down, dark and it smelled. It was dark, carpets were dirty, and it had way too many stairs.
There are issues with cleanliness in the facility. Corporate is very cheap regarding the facility. Not enough staff to keep it clean or respond to problems. Kitchen runs at the pleasure of the employees, not the residents. We wish we had chosen another facility, but moving at our age would be very difficult.

Our residents will appreciate that we take the necessary time to interview and just hire not the first, but the best candidates who fit our needs. Moving forward, if you have any specific dining requests, please talk directly to our dining services manager or the executive director, as we are happy to address feedback from our residents.
Did not offer memory care only assisted living. Rates were great but atmosphere depressing.
