Unprofessional. Appointment was in the morning, waited in the dark waiting room while the staff had their morning gossip session in back for 15 minutes before anyone would come check me in or talk to me (yes, the office was supposed to be open already) then got to listen to them complain about patients and how they had to work until 4 PM. The visit was effective, nothing special out of the ordinary. I was prescribed 4 medications, one was so new CVS did not carry it, one was not covered by insurance and CVS requested an alternative. I have been waiting 10 days, called their office 3 times and had no return calls, and my wife went to office. They promised it would be resolved 2 days ago. I am done with her. I will find someone who can give me medical care.
I made an appointment with her to have a mole removed on my back. They made an appointment and I found out the day before it was with a nurse. They they did a “full body” check and it took her every bit of 2 minutes, she took her gloves off, told me I was good to go, there was nothing concerning, to check out of up front, and left. She is the least caring and least interested in my condition of any doctor I've ever met.
Friendly staff and assistants. Best word to describe Dr. Gaugh is abrupt. I might consider looking for a different dermatologist.....maybe she was just having a bad day..
Severe Poison Ivy infection
It is not often I will leave a review but after yesterday, and speaking to several other people I know who have used Gaughf Dermatology, I feel compelled to leave my thoughts. I would never recommend Dr Gaughf!! I have been battling disfiguring skin cancer for over 3 years now. I went to see her about a spot on my back when it all started. This spot would never go away and would bleed. I saw her many times because the procedures she did did not work. It kept coming back and getting larger. She told me it was no big deal. Her staff were all fairly good, except the PA that always seemed to be rushing to a fire. Dr Gaughf herself could polish her bedside manners also
