After 12 years as a client, I experienced a terrible customer service which I realized my business should be transferred to another salon that values me as customer. The receptionists at Gene Juarez's salon requires training and maturity to handle customers.

Let me start by saying that my esthetician (Aria) was AMAZING! The issues I have are not with the actual service (I had facial) but with the atmosphere. The pre-Covid gene Juarez could teach the post-Covid a thing or two. They're is no fancy locker room and showers anymore, no foot soak with a beverage. While getting my amazing facial I can hear everyone walking in the hall and chatting, laughing etc. VERY distracting when trying to enjoy the service. Booked a cut and conditioning treatment and was told she might not have to dry or style my hair! Crazy! Then she cut it too short. I usually love it there but super disappointed today.

I didn't really have that great of an experiance with GJ of Kitsap. I did post a review but it was at the wrong location although I did say Kitsap. I called before I showed up to the salon & was told that I could walk in for a hair color consultation. However when I arrived in person the lady at the front desk reception said that 'I was misinformed' well great! (not really) I didn't get a sorry but these days I never expect much. This place is a joke and a scam Don't go there they will make up bogus charges For a haircut and color Definitely not worth the $$$ My wife called several times and was giving the run a round, We will just let everyone know of the bad experience she had at your salon and how she got ripped off.....

I just called to make an appointment for cut and highlights. After going through the lengthy appointment scheduling process I was told that they are not drying hair due to Covid. Really ridiculous but then I asked if the price of service is reduced because of reduction of service. Unbelievable but their price is the same! I canceled my appointment!Update: the salon is not addressing charging the same amount of money

While we pride ourselves on guests leaving the salon looking and feeling their best, health is our highest priority. I scheduled online.. it didn't work so I called. I asked for a partial balayage and a trim.. the stylist put me in the chair, and then I took my hair down and she said she didn't have time to do my hair. She said they only booked me for an hour. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her name is Cheryl. I never got a call back from corporate, either. I wouldn't recommend going here & wasting your time.

Never again. My colorist, Hunter did a good job with my coloring however neither her or the stylist who cut my hair listened to my concerns about the length they wanted to leave me with. All I asked for was a shape. Either trim with a style or whack it to chin length. I have very thick, dry and coarse curly hair. It was waist length when I began. I left with some layers and hair about 4-5" shorter. I look like Irish Weird Al today. I can roll it, flat iron it but I can't wash and go which is all I wanted.

I've tried to book with Kylee twice and both times she has canceled on me because she was "sick". The first time she canceled on me they rescheduled me twice eventually with a different stylist so to make it up to me they said they would put a note in my account to compensate my deep conditioning which didn't actually happen.
