It is hard to find someone to color your hair the way you want. Ashley at Gene Juarez is amazing. I would recommend her to everyone.

My cousin was in town for a few days before she had to deploy to Afghanistan and she wanted to get the works. We walked in and asked if they had any openings for facials and haircuts. They were very accommodating in getting us in for the day since it was last minute. We didn't wait long at all. I don't remember the womans name cutting my hair, but she was great. Only had a brow wax done but McKenzie (esthetician) was so funny and she did an awesome job. I'm so picky about my brows but she listened and does a great job on a continuing basis. Gave four stars bc it is a little pricey, but overall the staff is friendly and courteous. No long waits here either.

I just had my hair hi-lited yesterday and love it!! The girl, Chloe who did it - was amazing!! I was so happy with the way it turned out! The entire staff was so friendly - and you can tell they are 100% committed to Customer Service!! I would highly recommend them! Their prices are very reasonable for the services they offer! I thought they would be very expensive from the looks of it - but they are very resonable - and the staff are definitely professionals! Thank you so much Chloe! I love my new dew!!!

Long story short: I went in with my two kids for haircuts and to get mine and my daughter's eyebrows waxed. I paid over $300 for the three of us. My toddler looked amazing. His haircut was worth every penny, and I absolutely loved his stylist, Kaitlyn. My teenage daughter and I had Linda, and although she is a really friendly person, my daughter's and my haircuts were horrible. My daughter actually started crying as soon as we got back to the car. I did not have a very good experience at this particular location. GJ has not been the same as when I used to go back in the 90's. I lived out in Silverdale the was a few years ago. When I arrived at the salon there was a Covid sign I guess I wasn't allowed to walk into the store. I was greeted by a sullen front desk person & that was disappointing b/c I used to work at GJ were the front desk women were energetic & smiled, first rate customer service. That was gone. It has been a year since I visited Gene Juarez, and I am sorry to report that my most recent visit was not improved from my last. In fact, in was arguably worse, because I paid more money for the service. To start, I do want to acknowledge that everyone at this salon is kind and engaging, and the environment is always clean. I asked for a significant amount of hair cut off. When asked if I wanted layers, I stated that I was unsure but my stylist suggest them, so my short cut didn't look too bulky. I was fine with that. She cut my hair, which looked okay at the time (it was night time and I couldn't tell from afar with my short cut and the black cape). I came to see Cheryl at the Silverdale location with 5 months worth of growth and previously highlighted ends. I showed her a picture of beautiful buttery blond color. She decided to balayage my hair and promised to achieve this color. I was starting to worry when her application was fast and sloppy. After she washed it, I realized it was orange.
