After having a couple of bad color/highlighting visits at two different salons in the Kitsap/Pierce County area, I decided to give Gene Juarez in Silverdale a try (recommended by a coworker). My colorist was Kelsey. She made me feel at ease right away during our consultation and had great recommendations on how to achieve the look I wanted. The end result is " I love my color". Today Dee did my color/balayage and i love it! My hair has a lot of previous color on it and even after the balayage it looks shiny and healthy. The salon has a nice modern feel, the front desk staff was very friendly. overall it was a wonderful expirence!

Last week I came in and had my hair colored by Drew. I know she is new, but she did a fantastic job, giving me exactly what I asked for. After talking about what cut style would suit the color best, she even pulled a cut specialist over to trim my bangs free of charge. Over all, I am so happy with the results, I will definitely be seeing Drew again!

I have been a customer of Gene Juarez salons since 1987. The experience varies with the technicians, of course. Yesterday I had a foil with Drew and she nailed it. I am ecstatic about my color, she did a great job. I predict a great future for Drew. But! I am not a fan of the decor at this shop. The last thing we need in the northwest is decor that reminds us of rain.

I have been getting my hair done with Chandra for awhile now. She's very sweet, and gives a great scalp massage! There was one time I wasn't happy with my hair, and we talked it over in great length and she's suggested things I do to help things work out better. I've also found she has been able to 'read' me better as we continue to see each other. She knows EXACTLY what I am looking at and what I want cut as though she is reading my mind. I have been to two other locations and the service at this location is amazing. I got my hair cut and colored here. I brought in photos of what I wanted done and the ladies in the salon worked their magic and gave me what I wanted. My hair is naturally curly. At this point in my life my hair is is just a big puff ball of fizz. That was my biggest concern when I getting my hair cut. My hair turned out great and everything was nice and even. This is my third or fourth time ay Gene Juarez, and every time I walk in I am quickly attended to, given refreshments and the people at the front desk are kind and very attentative. Today I was greeted by Candy, who was super sweet to me and immediately brought me a cup of coffee and was so kind:).
