I have been going to Gentle Dental, formerly Dedicated Dental, for many years. Their service and quality of work was good, not always the best, but not an issue, up until a few months ago. I never appreciated having a different dentist at least once a year, but didn't think it worth complaining about. I had a broken tooth removed. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE If you want to avoid having complications in the future do not go to this office. I had a porcelain crown on my molar done at this office and the doctor didn't even fit it on me. He had a dental assistant place it on my tooth and he didn't even check if it was done properly. One year later when I went for a check up at another dentist, I was told that the crown wasn't fitted or put on correctly and I started to develop an infection. The worst experience I've had at a dentist! I was a new patient looking for a dentist covered by my insurance. Not only was the receptionist at the front rude, it took 3 hours to get a cleaning and an exam! Then the dentist informed me that I had 6 cavities (never had one before in my life) and that I needed to buy their special toothbrush combo and mouthwash. This office is poorly run, scheduling problems, antiquated X-rays, wait time is ridiculous, and bad business practices. Find another dentist.

Too many re-schedules. I've been with this office for many years and last two appointments I have set up have not been pleasant. Last time I scheduled an appointment they called me very close to my appointment and re-scheduled me. They then called before the "new" rescheduled date, and re-scheduled me yet again. The worst. I've have these braces on literally for 5 years. I was only supposed to have them on for 2. My senior year of high school the doctor decided to take off my top braces so my teeth would "look nice" for my prom pictures, didn't ask for permission, just did it, I was ANGRY. They ended up putting my braces back on after I complained saying my teeth were not ready, and they agreed that they weren't after an evaluation. My wife visited to have her cavities filled. While administering the numbing agent via shot in the gum, they hit some kind of nerve or something and she lost vision in her right eye. This was our first encounter and regretfully not our last. Our new dentist referred my wife to Gentle Dental for gum surgery. Reluctantly she accepted and went to her consultation. Don't EVER come here!! They will over charge you!! Came in March & paid $1800 cash, they can't give u change back so they put your leftover $ in your account. Stupid. It's now June & I still haven't received my $ they owe me for 2 crowns from March! They said they don't take payments but at my second apt. there was a guy in there making a payment! BS! I had a 10 a.m. appointment for a cleaning should take about 15 minutes right? Wrong. I sat there for almost 1 3/4 hrs and finally walked out without a cleaning. I was asked 4 times if I wanted fluoride treatment each time I said "no" when they moved me to the front of the office there was fluoride treatment waiting for me probably still is.
