The scenery around this campground is beautiful. The river sites are extremely small and your tow vehicle probably won’t fit and there’s no where else to park it. The train tracks sits 60 yards from your site, and it went through 5-6x last night. Started at 10:15pm until 6am. I only seen it go through once yesterday during the day. What are they moving at night. The sound is unbelievable. There is a curve right in front of campground and it screeches and roars. It vibrates your trailer and will wake you up every time. I do not recommend this site for campers. We booked a river site for our trip home from the Southwest. We could not get our camper in the site, it was too narrow. No room for a picnic table or chairs. Just side to side with other campers. In all our years of camping, I’ve never seen sites so small. The staff were very accommodating and gave us some options in the “large rig area” (our trailer is 26 feet). They suggested a couple of sites away from “the wedding party “. We were there for my great nieces wedding reception May of 2026. We had a suite over the venu for the reception. Upon arrival we first noticed 3 of the backs on the bar chairs were broke off. The coffee maker in the room wouldn't work. The next morning when we all had to shower there was no hot water, called the maintenance number and left a message no one ever contacted us.
