I will start with the positive, the river and canyon is beautiful no doubt on that and the staff was very friendly, I like that it is family owned I always want to support small business. With that said, it is totally not worth the price and we were very disappointed. 1st I wanted to reserve our free shuttle to the hot springs as this was a huge factor why we picked this establishment, I was told at check in I needed to do that 24hrs in advance...okay no one told me that not even when they called the week prior to take my ... read more

It was actually a great place and my family and I enjoyed our stay except for the fact that the bedroom I slept in was still reeking with the smell of the previous occupants. The bedsheet was not changed at all and I was very uncomfortable. Otherwise it was really a nice place. Oh yes the first day we got there our AC was not working and I appreciated the quick response and action that they did. They even bought us a new AC and it got installed right away. That part I would give a 5 star.

Not a resort, no services other than water, electric & sewer. Charged extra for our dogs & we received nothing extra. They didn't even have a brochure for area attractions. I asked for information about the Maroon Bells and received a blank stare.

Our stay for 10 minutes cost us $160. The river tent site was inaccessible by vehicle. Unloading camping gear for 5 people and hauling it all a few sites away is unacceptable. No help from the front office at all for a refund or even a partial one when they will rent it out again for both nights. FAR from a "resort". The bathrooms were 60 steps up a huge incline. Would not recommend.

Clearly not what I would call an RV resort. Being near the Colorado River is just that, 'near' it. The riverfront is so packed with campers on the river that there is no way to readily access it. Crowds fill rafting buses driving in and out all day. Traffic within the park is heavy. Resort fee is absurd. Not even any wifi unless you go to the pub at the far end of the park. $5 per pet fee. There are NO amenities nor any reason to call this an RV resort.

We stayed at the resort for 4 days as part of a large group for a family reunion. The river sites are horribly narrow. My Aunt's awning from her RV was over the top of the camper next to her when out. We had two feet between the steps of our camper and the pinic table. Our fir pit was completely unusable due to location. The price was very high for being packed, with no sewer hook-ups. We were even charged $14 extra a night for our two small children to be in our RV on a gravel lot with nothing around. No grass, play ar... read more

The river sites are to small. First 2 nights of our stay could not light a fire because the camper next to us parked over our fire pit. The manager was no help threaten to call the police on me. With everyone on top of each other it does not make for a good experience. I checked with my insurance and found out if I had lit a fire Glenwood Canyon Resort would have been responsible for damages be WARNED campers.
