EXCELLENT! This is a true family run business. We met the father, who gave us packing tips. He takes pride in his company. We had to reschedule our date twice because of paperwork issues. They were patient, no hassle, no extra fees. They were very upfront about when charges started and stopped. The two men who moved us were so careful and quick at the same time. I have used them a number of times. They were moving a lot of things and were able to do it with absolutely no damage. They also moved a bunch of clutter that I didn't have organized. They did a good job. They were really fast and the price was good.
Overall went very well. Crew was very professional. Rained most of the day and hard at times, which probably slowed things down some. My only complaint is the billing is on a time and material basis. I got an estimate from Keith at around $800, however the actual bill was almost 30% more. I chose them partly because of the price. If it weren't for the crew's good work (which they all got tipped) I would have called Keith and complained about the large discrepancy between the estimate and actual price. They packed everything. They did an excellent job. I would recommend this moving company. They were very professional.
I want to give a big thank you to Seth, Daniel,Daryl, and Matt. They were professional,polite and worked very efficiently.It was a very hot day for unloading and they even asked us if would be ok if they took a break! They were carrying items upstairs,downstairs to the basement and all over the whole house.Not a thing was even scratched and they had to put several pieces together for us that had been unassembled for the initial loading.They protected our walls, bannisters, and door frames.They checked with us several times t... read more
The workers worked really hard and took few breaks. They were very personable and they were kind with my children and our pets in the home. Nothing was broken.
The service was excellent. They were really good and efficient. It took a little longer than expected, 11 hours as opposed to 8 hours as estimated.
A very positive experience! All 5 guys were polite, well trained, and very professional. They were well equipped with pads, dollys and straps. They worked very diligently. I asked them to move some difficult items like big glass and slate table tops, a plasma TV, refrigerator and beds. Nothing was broken. My new house was not damaged. Thanks Greenwood movers!
Called several moving companies. One provided an estimate over the internet withour ever coming to the house. Keith, one of the owners of Greenwood M&S came to our house for an on-site estimate. While Keith's estimate was more we felt it was more accurate. It was based upon trucks and movers used for specific number of hours.
