I would recommend to them friends. They are excellent. We set the whole thing up over the phone. Everything was done on time. There was no damage to anything. They have special padding they use for door frames. They also have floor coverings. They were very patient placing the items during the move. The foreman was an exceptional worker. They provided plenty of padding and very diligent about protecting our stuff even though it was short distance to move.
We were very pleased with their service from start to finish. They showed up right on time for our estimate appointment and did an extremely thorough job. As promised, two 3-man crews showed up right on time on moving day and worked very hard for the entire day. They were polite and good-natured, and did I mention very hardworking? They took very good care of both houses and of our things--we are almost all unpacked and so far have not found anything that was damaged. We would not hesitate to recommend these movers!
They are the kind of company that knows you by your first name when you call. They protect everything when they come and go. They are very dependable, extremely reasonable. Their storage prices were extremely comparable to other facilities I'd shopped. They do their best to get to something in storage if you request it and usually without charge. I have experienced several interstate moves and this is by far the best company I have used. Regarding payment, they are not as flexible as some of the larger companies, i.e., for out-of-state moves, they do not accept credit cards or PO numbers. That was the only complaint I had. The actual movers were excellent! They were very careful when wrapping furniture and loading/unloading. I didn't find scratched on anything. Great with my dad's two moving experiences. Overall decent with mine. I was disappointed more packers were not sent as scheduled, which caused the actual moving day to be longer as we waited for packing to occur. Also, the cost exceed the estimate by $700. I might have gone with another company which gave me an estimate slightly under that and seemed better on packing.
Three men arrived when expected and began working right away. They were polite and did a good job protecting the furniture and walls. They promptly delivered and set up the furniture, and made sure I was okay with everything before they left.
The movers arrived on time (approximately 8:20 on the scheduled day). They quickly surveyed the furniture to be moved and got to work. They padded the doorways and banisters to prevent damage. They arrived on time on moving day and were very fast, professional, and friendly. I especially liked their wrapping the mattress in plastic, and using a foam piece to keep the washing machine drum stable. They unloaded at my new home and moved furniture around to fit my plans. The move took only took a total of a little over three hours.
Went well. Movers arrived on time. They put up pads to protect doors and corners. Boxed and sealed mattresses. Did the same at the second location. It was a short move, just over 3 hours. Charged by the hour. Was a great deal!
