They organized well for this rather complicated shuffle and worked very efficiently. It rained part of the day and they were very careful to cover all the items. They were pleasant and courteous and very patient in getting the items in place just as I wanted. They patiently put my felt pads on many furniture legs to protect the wood floors in my new house. They positioned garage work benches on cement blocks (which they moved) as requested. Altogether the move took about 7 hours. I would definitely use them again.
The G M & S employees were extremely helpful and professional. From the company owner, Keith Lambert, who did my in home estimation and answered a multitude of questions for me, to the office personnel who assisted me with obtaining specialized boxes for hard-to-pack items, to the guys who loaded and unloaded my possessions. I received friendly and helpful service in receiving the estimate. I chose to use another company (recommended by other Angie's List users) based on the hourly rate, but I appreciated the friendly phone service.
HE WAS THE MOST PLEASANT PERSON TO TALK WITH ON THE PHONE. HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE, PATIENT, AND RESPECTFUL. THE CREW WAS VERY RESPECTABLE, STRONG, AND HARD WORKING. THEY WERE VERY CONSCIENTIOUS IN THEIR WORK AND TOOK GREAT CARE NOT TO DAMAGE OR BREAK ANYTHING. THEY ONLY TOOK ONE BREAK IN THE 7 HOURS THAT THEY WERE HERE WORKING. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEIR PRICING WAS VERY COMPETITIVE AND THE MOST REASONABLE.
THEY WERE VERY GOOD. ONE OF THE BEST PACKING JOBS I HAVE EVER SEEN.
THEY CAME IN, RETURNED CALLS AND PROVIDED REMINDERS, THEIR PROPOSAL WAS ACCURATE, AND THEIR WORKERS DIDN'T HORSE AROUND. THEY DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO AND DID A GOOD JOB.
PAYING BY THE HOUR MADE ME NERVOUS, BUT THESE THREE GUYS WERE TOP-NOTCH. THEY NEVER SLOWED DOWN, THEY WERE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT MY POSSESSIONS, OFFERED THEIR OWN ADVICE ON SEVERAL POINTS, WHICH WERE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. THEY MADE ME FEEL THAT MY POSSESSIONS WERE 'THEIR POSSESSIONS.'' THEY HANDLED WITH CARE. NOTHING WAS DAMAGED, THE WALLS AND DOOR JAMBS OF THE HOUSE WERE PROTECTED AND THEY FINISHED IN A SHORT TIME--DESPITE HAVING TO MAKE TWO STOPS AFTER LOADING. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE USED THEM. THE FIRST BEING A SIMPLE MOVE OF A LARGE HOUSEHOLD FROM SOUTHPORT TO CARMEL, AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. THIS SECOND MOVE WAS VERY EXPENSIVE SINCE IT WAS GOING TO LOCATIONS THAT ARE NOT USUAL MOVEMENTS FROM THE INDY AREA, AND IT REQUIRED A TRUCK AND TWO EMPLOYEES FOR JUST ONE SMALL LOAD. KEITH LAMBERT APOLOGIZED FOR THE QUOTED PRICE AND OFFERED TO PUT ME IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE WHO COULD DO THE MOVE FOR LESS.
