WHO WE ARE Growing up in Indiana is a privilege. Our love is growing unique restaurants in the Midwest. It’s our roots. It’s in our DNA. It’s tradition. It’s family, and it’s hard work. We come by it naturally though. After all, it started through the generations with our father & grandfather, Carl Fogelsong. A man who initially executed his vision and was eventually named to the Indiana Restaurant Hall of Fame. Since 1965 our business remains committed to its roots: love of community, friends and family, and a universa... read more

We loved the feel of the place but the food was not great. We all walked out with a negative observation about what we had ordered. Tacos, next to no meat. Burger, dry. Children's fruit, tasted funny (even to an adult). Chicken Noodle dish, not much flavor. Meatloaf, "different." Salad, bread was oddly chewy/stale. We wanted to like it because it was close and we love to ride our bikes to dinner but we probably won't go back.
Late service by wait staff inattentive poor food quality
Made a reservation for 3 on Friday night. I was seated promptly. We waited several minutes for a server to come over, none ever did. I had to ask for my server. Wanted to order a drink from the drink menu, but the size of the text made it almost impossible. I saw other folks also staring at the hard to read drink menu. If I can see this, the wait staff and management MUST be able to see this too. Very disappointing. The food is very average. There is nothing special about what's offered. I will not return.
We were excited to try it for the first time. Everyone’s food was pretty mediocre-everything was under seasoned. I had chicken and it was very overcooked and dry. My husbands tacos were bland and meat was overcooked. The restaurant is beautiful and our waiter was good-just lacking food that matches.
We ordered salad and soup of day. We received our salad, but not soup. The were told they were out of soup of day. The new soup was not what either of us wanted. We were essentially told by the server...too bad this is all we have as the soup was pushed toward us to eat. Extra dressing was requested, but didn’t come for over 10 minutes...therefore unable to eat salad that sat in front of us. We discussed our disappointment with manager who gave us free dessert. Neither of us eat desserts and had ordered salads for lunch. No ... read more
Service was slow. Food was below average especially for the price. Ordered cheese curds as an appetizer for $10 so we figured at that price they would probably be hand breaded and high quality but they were definitely frozen from a box that probably cost $3.99 for a whole box. Server was not attentive and kept calling my daughter “hun” which I think is inappropriate since she was 21 years old. We will not be going back.
We made a reservation online and checked in 15 minutes prior to our reservation, we were seated late (15 minutes after our scheduled reservation) because they lost us in their system. Then, my meal came out with our appetizer and my husband’s steak was prepared well done, when it was ordered medium. Since it came out 10 minutes after my meal, we ended up sending the steak back and he went elsewhere for a meal. They were nice and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer for next time, but it was a lot of trouble for a date night... read more
Our waittress was very good and attentive, however, the food was sub-par at best. The cheese curds with garlic aloi as an appetizer were good, but not anything special you can't get at any other bar food type place. Their mashed potaotes not only weren't seasoned but the texture chould choke you they were so dry, like there was no milk or moisture in them at all. The filet was cooked alright, medium in the middle but well around that and not seasoned at all, had to salt and pepper everything. The asparagus came out cold but ... read more
Went there a week after they opened and was impressed and told lots of people about it. Went back today with my family and it was a madhouse. Food took forever, very poor service and food was below average. Got two fish tacos, an app, two kids meals and two glasses of wine and walked out with a $95 check. Will never be back.
