Chicken was cold. Staff did a nice job getting warm chicken. Very average food. Site is lovely.
Food was a little on the bland side and spent a little too long under the heating lamp. Service was good, ambiance was excellent. Overall a good but not great experience.
The food was good and the service was good as well. The menu has alot of variety so there's something for everyone; however, the food is not that memorable.
My fiancé and I came for dinner and sat in the bar! Everything was amazing. My fiancé and I have both been servers/bartenders for about 6 years so we tend to be very forgiving when it comes to customer service since we know how hectic the job can be. Our server let us know it was only his second week but he was down right AMAZING! We were thoroughly impressed. Fantastic service and the food was amazing. Price was very reasonable for getting local meat.
Truly enjoyed our 1st dining experience at Grindstone On Monon. Our Open Table reservation got us a table with a minimum wait on a busy Friday nite. We were seated at a nice booth in middle of the restaurant. We enjoyed the architecture (large open area with lots of nice oak features. Grindstone on the Monon is a great place for any occasion. Their crab cakes are the best I have ever had!
The food and service were excellent. We had the cheese curds for an appetizer and they were very good. I had te ribs for dinner. They were fall off the bone tender and the bourbon BBQ salse was excellent.
We've been there twice & ordered the breaded tenderloin both times. Portion so large that we both took half of it home for another meal. Nice selection of sides.
