Dr. Thayer and staff are the best. Kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. My first doggy came to me at 15 yrs. old with significant health issues. Care was limited due to her age as dr. T explained that anesthesia was simply not a recommended option so we tried medications which extended her comfortable life for 3 years. My current doggy has been going to Dr. T since I adopted her 4 years ago. Love this place. Fast, friendly and the doctor takes plenty of time to sit and talk with the humans (and four legged friends) and explain everything. Very thorough.
The staff is really wonderful. Their concern for the animals in their care is obvious. It is more than just a job. Our current cat was adopted from the Hospital. He was two years old then, now he is around five and still healthy. It is great to have such an important and dependable service so close to home.

Dr Thayer is the best Vet that I never know. The most loving Dr that I never know. I trust him with my eyes closed. I met him since 9 years ago when my sister bought her dog Valentino. My sister also adores Dr.Thayer, because he always knows what to do when Valentino is sick. He is very knowledgeable. I would never go to other vet to take care my baby Sakie who is my life. All the the staff Stephane and all the nurses are always very sweet with Sakie. I'm really thankful with them because I know Sakie is in good hands.
WOW...I just read through Dr. Thayer's review's and unless he has an evil twin who "fills in" for him when I have brought my 14 yr. old pug Samson to him, then those negative reviews are WAY OFF!!!!! Dr, Thayer is golden (as in retriever) my fellow pet lovers. I can't even begin to explain how incredible I believe Dr. Thayer, and his entire staff including Megan and Stephanie are. As a doctor myself that runs his own practice, I wholeheartedly appreciate how much care they show to the animals (and the humans). This is by far the most honest veterinarian in Westchester, NY. Dr. Thayer is smart, caring and will not take advantage of you. I have been going to Dr. Thayer since we moved up from Manhattan about 6 years ago. I am a medical doctor and I am very impressed by Dr. Thayer's level of knowledge and approach to problem solving. I recommend Dr. Thayer highly.
