Highlands at Dearborn The Highlands are a great place to lease. We first felt that they were quite pricey, but you are certainly getting what you pay for. Other complexes similar to this in the surrounding area are far more costly with less to offer. The buildings are relatively new, so the design is modern and efficient. High on life in the Highlands at Dearbourn This complex is outstanding, by far the best I have lived in. Its clean and the staff along with the community are extremly friendly. Being in the military and having a kid and a wife it can be chellenging to find a place to live. Everybody wants that perfect little spot they can call home, even though its an apartment complex I'm thrilled to call this place home. Save yourself the headache Management is ok with charging astronomical rental prices while not taking care of their residents. Been without a working appliance that is a FIRE HAZARD for over 6 weeks and have been continually lied to about when it will be replaced. You would think they would take this more seriously after having building 8 burn to the ground not too long ago. They gave me... (Verified Renter) They gave me a hard time when I first moved in due to my dog. They said they were making an exception on his breed which is an Australian Shepherd. Meanwhile the place is flooded with dogs that aren?t even on the leases not to mention the over abundance of pit bulls

Really don't like... (Verified Renter) Really don't like the parking issues in this complex. Cars everywhere on curbs and so forth you have to worry about hitting as you back out of your space or driving thru the complex to leave in the morning. Horrible.
I wouldn't recommend... (Verified Renter) I wouldn't recommend the community at this point. The first two of the five years I was there I was proud and happy to refer anyone. Year three started to change. Parking was atrocious, there was no enforcing of the rules, parking or otherwise. The residents became more and more discourteous to both other residents as well as the property. The class of residents certainly changed.
