Very very very nice people. My dog was hit by a car (nothing life threatening) and I couldn't get my old vet to answer the phone. So I looked on yelp to find a new vet. They stayed open late for me and my dog was given great treatment.
When we moved here two years ago, we had two dogs and no idea what vet to use. When it was time for their rabies shots, we just looked online and found Hiram Animal Hospital. Since they weren't sick, we figured this would be a good time to try them out. You can tell that the staff are all animal lovers, and Dr. Meeker and Dr. Carpenter are both very good veternarians. i've been going to dr carpenter since we first adopted our puppy. he's been very good to him and handles him with care. the vet techs are very helpful when you call. they aren't pushy with services
Very fortunate to have a good vet practice nearby - I've enjoyed excellent and reasonably priced service from HAH and although my cats may not be fans of their visits, I've been pleased.
Great vets with some horrible staff. Can't complain about the staff to the vets because they will not put you through. Took my business else where.

UPDATE: was told by the vet that it wasn't life threatening at the moment at all, to watch her for a few days to a week and make sure it doesn't get worse, vet gave her some antibiotics and some steroids and then 8 hours later my cat died. I will say thankfully it was peaceful and she just went to sleep but I'm not going to believe that it was some kind of coincidence that my cat died as soon as she left this vet office. Most awful place I've ever been. We found two orphaned kittens and I brought them in for emergency help. I left them in their care after I was informed by the tech that the left over fleas would be treated, I told them that pumpkins eye looked infected, and they assured me deworming would happen since I saw worms, they had barely eaten anything and I was told they'd get them warm and begin feeding etc.. I even signed papers for ALL this- only to get a call two hours later saying there's nothing they can do and come pick them... read more

Went in for dog broading. The lady told me I couldn't see the dog area right now. Was told to come back at 4:30p. Not sure what they had to hide.!!! Big inconvenience!!!!! I had a flight to catch!!!! These people are a complete disaster. My dad took my pet in for a 1st time routine visit. I was not present but nevertheless totally disgusted. The doctors do not care about the pets. You better hope you pet dont have anything fatal because they do not diagnose and treat. I sent my pet to them for severe discoloration in the rectum that was new for 30 days.
