We have been taking our furry family members to Hiram Animal Hospital for nearly 10 years. We love Dr. Carpenter, and are very happy with the other doctors that we have seen since going there. I worked at a small animal veterinary clinic before changing careers, so I can be a little "picky". After trying several other clinics, we found this one and made it home for our babies medical needs. They are very polite, professional, caring and respectful of our needs. Thank you all at Hiram Animal Hospital for all you do .

They have always treated my Sam George with great care. I would give 5 stars if they didn't overbook their appointments. There is always a great wait no matter what time of the day there. My Sam's doctor, at home in WA, arrange his appointments during slower periods, or they schedule so there are times when there are fewer animals in the office at the same time. Hiram Animal Hospital is wonderful. They take care of our menagerie of animals with care and dignity. Dr. Johnson is our vet. He is caring, supportive and I like the fact he calls me the next day just to check and see if our little one is feeling better. His support staff appears to care for the animals when they take the dogs to weigh them, always a smile and take such great care of them. Thanks, Dr. J and staff! We love you and are devoted patients for life.

Amazing staff amazing doctors! When Banfield at Petsmart refused to take my sick animals after I pay for the Wellness plan, Hiram Animal Hospital didn't hesitate to take in my dog I found on a hike who was in very bad condition.(note I brought her into the pet hospital as the place was closing) She's doing great now! I canceled the wellness plan. You guys are the best thank you so much for the compassion and hardwork!(:

Earlier this week I awoke to find my beloved 12 yr old cat, Joey unable to move and I could tell he was in alot of pain. (The night before he had been eating chicken out of my hand). I immedicately called the vet's office where they gave me an appt 1 hr later. When I got him there, they took him immediatly to the exam room. I took my 8 year old "puppy" to Hiram Animal Hospital for the first time this weekend for an annual wellness exam. We saw Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson was very personable, nice, informative and patient. He was very thorough as he explained everything to me and my mom. He answered all of our questions. They were VERY busy! He never seemed rushed and really listened to our thoughts and concerns. The girl that took my dog to get blood work was so sweet! The entire staff made us feel very special. The entire building was very clean.... read more

Dr. Carpenter will spend so much time with me and my pets that I start worrying about the other patients in the waiting room. I feel that he takes them as seriously as a physician would a child which is why i've been a client for 15 years.

Very very very nice people. My dog was hit by a car (nothing life threatening) and I couldn't get my old vet to answer the phone. So I looked on yelp to find a new vet. They stayed open late for me and my dog was given great treatment.
