I dread with a passion going to the doctor's office or dentist, so when having to pick a new one, my anxiety levels are off the charts. Andrea (the hygenist) and Dr. Susan Rosenfeld are top notch. Andrea was so gentle and thorough during my cleaning. Dr. Rosenfeld had a patient and friendly "bedside" manner and was also thorough in reviewing my x-rays and checking my whole mouth. I've been going here since I've moved to Boston five years ago. It's always been a pleasurable experience (as much as dentistry can go). They remind you of appointments, which are easily forgotten and their staff is incredibly friendly and polite. I've had routine cleanings and with their alliance had my four wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Manfredo is the MAN! He takes a level-headed approach to your dental health and does not over-treat with unnecessary procedures. He takes time to explain things and strikes an ideal balance between professional guidance and patient-centeredness. He and his staff are personable, fun, and work very well together as a team. The front office staff I interacted with were also friendly and helpful, and I had very short wait times for my appointments here.
Dr. Rohardt at Hirshberg Dental has saved my life on two different occasions! She patiently and compassionately helped me determine what I needed to resolve my tooth pain. Even sending me to another specialist to get a second opinion when needed. It turned out that I needed a two-crown procedure --which she expertly performed. Then, this week she fixed a chipped front tooth and I was good as new. Plus, she's a delightful person! So thankful the office is located in Downtown Boston!
I have been going here for a few years, and it's been great. My dental hygienist is Celeste, and she is great. Very thorough and efficient. Other than cleanings, I only ever had one filling put in, but it went fine. Everyone is very nice. Appointments are easy to schedule, and they even text you when you have an appointment coming up. The offices are modern and pleasant. Honestly I couldn't ask for anything more in a dental office.
Cannot say enough about this dentist office. They are always friendly, professional and do great work. I have been going to them since 1997. Filling here and there, a crown, and veneers. All professionally done and lasted a long time. I recommend Susan the Hygienist and Dr. Hirshberg himself. Great combo. Its always a pleasure to visit there and have work done. Dr Rosenfeld is the best dentist I have ever been to! She explains what needs to be done and completes the work in a highly professional manner. Most important when she gives me an injection I don't even feel it!!! She is the best!
I felt the need to review after reading the "fear monger" review. I also have Dr. Wozny and my husband and I travel an hour to see him. The initial reason we saw him was that my husband broke 3 teeth over 8 years ago and Dr. Wozny did all of the cosmetic work on him. His teeth are absolutely beautiful and no one would ever know the extent of his injuries. After having very bad experiences with a filling/cavity, I finally gave in and traveled to see Dr.Wozny. Hirschberg is a great dentist to have if you work in downtown Boston. I schedule visits during my lunch break and they always take me in on time and get me out the door quickly. Some of the service seems pricey but they have always done a great job on my teeth.
