Luckily, my parents gave me a healthy set of chompers. Last time I had my teeth cleaned before Hirschberg was, well, let's just say years longer than it should have been. I've been a patient at HD for over a year. Their location is extremely convenient for me (and those in the financial/PO Sq. district). They don't waste my time. The dentist's are always friendly and ready to answer my questions. A few days ago I had a dental concern, so I called the office and was able to see a dentist about 20 minutes later, and they did not bill me for the quickie visit. That's what I call service! I've been going to Hirshberg Dental for the past couple years and I have really loved it. The receptionists are friendly and helpful - the hygienists are AWESOME! I see Dr. Susan Rosenfeld and she has been pretty patient with my dental work anxiety! I'll be honest.. I don't really like the dentist's office.. I get worried I will have a cavity! How great can a dentist really be? Well, I give Hirshberg 4 stars for: location, friendly staff and immediate care when needed. Dr. Hirshberg, on my first visit to him, found the root of the pain that I'd been having for a while - a cracked tooth that went all the way in one straight line from back to front. No doubt the very best service organization I have ever used! Friendly, efficient staff, they handle my insurance company stuff with no hassle. My dentist took time to explain what I needed, why, and what my alternatives were. There was no pressure, and no unnecessary things being pushed. There is no making me enjoy having my mouth probed, but the modern and clean office, with great music coming through the stereo (any DMB fans out there?) make it all worthwhile. Quite an interesting and dishonest interaction with the practice. Cleaning was average and felt rushed both times I was there. I don't have major dental issues so I just let it be since it is so close to work. Then this most recent time, I was falsely billed for evaluation when I only had cleaning done that day. When I called to clarify the charges on the bill, they said it was documented in my chart that evaluation was done by a dentist though that never occurred. Very disoriented and dishonest bunch of ''Professionals". Rating them with 1 star is way too generous. I was quoted one price and ended up paying five times more than quoted. When I asked for a receipt to be emailed to me, the front desk clerk refused to do so. He was very unpleasant and rude, acting like the whole world was depending on him. When I asked again to be sent the receipt digitally, he started to yell, telling me that the system wouldn't let him do so and that he would have done it in the next half an hour. Need... read more

Dr Hirshberg destroyed my front tooth. I went in to put bonding material on a very small chip of roughly 5 percent of my front tooth and he must have cracked the tooth because I ended up with acrylic material replacing 70 percent of my tooth. I've been devastated and there was absolutely no accountability as to what actually happened.
Quality has gone downhill since Hirshberg retired. No regard for their client's time and very poor communicators. Very interested in selling additional services but delivery on them is terrible. I just spent another hour and a half getting to and from a visit that was cancelled, I received a text confirming th appoint on the same day I received a VM from SPAM RISK about it being cancelled. 2 weeks back to back cancelled.
