Cable not included, but I didn't need one for installation Favorite feature so far is double sided print. It works brilliantly and greatly simplifies my card making. My Christmas cards came out beautifully. The printer is perfectly happy printing on both sides of card stock as well as paper. It's as fast as your internet connection if you're printing wirelessly so for me that isn't always fast since I live out in the sticks and have to use a satellite connection with a JetPack device. Simple horrible Printer died in under 2 yrs. Worst printer I have owned from Brother. Changed out many parts on it and still did not work. Did not print that much before it stopped working. Get something else
Brother will not support a common issue with this printer. Brother will not support a common issue with this printer. The rollers on the fuser unit get all gunked up and cannot be cleaned. They are very cheap pieces of plastic with a paper-like wrapping around them, which could be easily replaced, but Brother won't sell them or provide any material information. The entire fuser unit is available for purchase through 3rd party vendors at $300 a pop.
Drops WiFi Constantly Had this printer for awhile now and it will not stay connected to the internet. The longer I've had it the worse it's gotten. Today it shows connected but will not print wireless at all. It's just a big, heavy piece of junk. A boulder is more useful.
Good while it lasted… Which wasn’t long enough We bought this in 2018 for our home and it has seen very light use. It was a departure from our normal Canon and Epson selection. We have six printers in our home, ranging from consumer up to professional level. We were surprised that it broke so soon, and when we messaged customer service, we got a response back in a day or two with a troubleshooting guide which was what I had already tried. Very disappointed We’ve had this printer for about two years before the wireless printing feature started to act up. After a lengthy diagnosis, I suspect the network card inside is bad. WiFi was signed on multiple times and registered normally. My router sees the printer. However, the phone app will not discover the machine, no matter what I tried. I’m very disappointed with this printer, and I would advise against purchasing this printer. It’s complete trash.
