I feel like I finally have a printer Moved away from Canon InkJet to this device. First of all, it's significantly bigger than my inkjet, about 3 time its size. But boy, I feel like I finally have a printer. It can take 10x the ink and 10x the paper. It works flawlessly and produces great prints. Finally, it's connected to the cloud in various ways so that I can print from my phone and scan directly to my Dropbox or Google Drive folder. My Canon was so fickle but this thing is a real deal. Couldn't be happier.
We're pretty impressed with this unit We're pretty impressed with this unit! I don't make a lot of colored copies, but I did need to print some photos on plain paper for an event. They turned out so crisp and great! The black and white is perfect as well. This seems like a great machine. So far, we love it. Very nice to be able to use it wirelessly as well.
Great! And super easy to install and operate. I love this printer. It is very easy to install, and the quality of the printing is very good. I'm still using the ink that came with the printer, so I feel like the ink lasts pretty long too. One of my favorite features is the scanner/copier. It is super easy and fast. It reminds me of one of those old time copiers that were so easy to use--just push the button and it is done! The machine is a bit large and heavy but I would expect that with a machine of this quality.
Great Quality, Easy to Set Up I run a small business, and I need a reliable printer. I previously had a Lexmark and the print cartridges were costing me a fortune. This Brother color printer comes with big toner cartridges reminiscent of the old Xerox cartridges that lasted forever! Needs Improvement! This is the first time we have used a Brother office product, usually we stick with HP and/or Canon products which have performed well in the past. The machine is quite heavy, about fifty pounds, and it took two of us to unpack it and move it to its desired place. Setting up the machine was pretty easy for wireless networking and comes with a CD ROM, and if you get stuck one of the best features is that Brother offers free tech support for the life of the machine. Easy to set up and use; great results The Brother HL-3180CDW color printer/scanner is one of those rare products (for me) that immediately impressed me as being "right." It was very easy to set up and get running, and it worked immediately. The whole process took me about 10 minutes, of which the hardest part was lifting its 50 pound bulk up and out of the shipping box. Quite Impressed! We have had a color Xerox Phaser 6130N for a long time. It finally gave up the ghost, and we were in need of a new printer. This one came along, and it's worked out great. We have a family of 6, and two kids 9 and 7 that are often doing things for school that require printing. Mostly reports, which it does a fantastic job of. No blurriness like an inkjet, of course.
