Disappointed I have owned 5 or 6 of these printers. The last 2 have had poor print quality even with Brother official brand toner cartridges. I constantly have to clean the rollers in the toner cartridge, and discard and reprint pages with lots of black spots and smears. I am shopping for another economical laser printer that will give me clean output.
Awful Print Quality Like others, I wanted to love this printer - its fast, inexpensive per page, and prints double sided. BUT, mine suffers from the same issues others reported - the ink cartridge leaks all over everything and the print quality is awful, for the first 4 or 5 pages you print after it stands for a bit. After that, the pages a legible but grey and messy. I tried cleaning it, etc. I've been running down the toner before buying a new one, and just ordered an HP laserjet pro 404dn instead. Dont buy This is my third one im on. They keep jamming up and freezing. This is ridiculous. I spent too much money on these printers for it not to work.
Poorly made I'm a notary agent and my printer broke within a month. Some piece of plastic inside chip of. Unhappy customer.
Printing Quality is getting worse day by day... I usually write positive feedback and reviews for most of product that our family and business orders. Overall I like Brothers Printer that's why I bought this printer. Since I got this printer about a year and half ago, the printing quality get worse day by day. now it's come to the point that I can not use it at all....black ink all over the page especially the few print in the morning....I disappointed in this particular model very much.
Overrated Do not purchase this if you are using it with Apple products. It’s a headache yo get it to work appropriately
Bleeds ink like a stuck pig I am sorry I wasted the money on this printer. It bleeds so much ink I can't read half my papers. It sucks so much power the lights in my room dim when I use it. Unbelievable piece of garbage. If I could give it a less than one rating I would. . I thought a new cartridge might help, but nope, not a bit. Not even 6 months old and its headed to the trash heap
***Careful*** Need to replace Drum ever 6 month. I have owned HP many years and purchased this due to great price and ratings. I Will not purchase again. You have to replace the drum often! The cost for supplies too expensive.
No drum cleaning option unless you do it manually!!! This printer does not have a way to clean the drum unless you do it manually. WHAT A PAIN. The drum fails. Gets dirty and they instruct you to clean it with a cotton ball. What happened with the cleaning feature? Terrible! I have had this printer for about 6 months and I need to replace the drum already? Ripoff
