So far so good. We got this unit for home use, which is probably an overkill for what we need. My wife is music director at our church and does some tutoring, so she will probably use more than me. Setting up wireless was easy. It connected to our network without a hitch using our password. It recognized our network and just put in password, downloaded driver and we were ready to print. Wastes toner Good quality printing but only 3 stars because toner cartridges are expensive and the counter runs out and shuts the printer down before it actually runs out of toner. You could reset and go on printing on previous models but not this one so it wastes toner. The other problem is that at some point it rolls a sheet of paper or worse a label on the fuser roller and it is a long process to get it off without damaging the roller and the construction makes it hard to get to. I LOVE this printer, but.... I really like this printer! It was easy to set up, and it prints wonderfully. B&W, color, 2-sided, legal-sized paper, etc.! My only issue is with the "toner is out" error message. I saw in other comments how there was a hack to reset this error message, but it's not working for me. It looks like the display on the newest version is slightly different. I called Brother customer support, and even though they were nice, they didn't have a solution. Great Printer Love my Brother printer. Best toner printer (with color no less). Quiet and great quality. a Little slow for professional (maybe) but it is great for home use.
Great for home use. All features seem to work well, good copy quality, ink seems to last a long time. Easy refill ink system. My only negative comment is that this model does not have touch screen technology. Having to mess with the buttons, forward, back, etc. is annoying. If this unit had touch screen technology it would be perfect. Overall a very good printer.
