14 Months and Still Producing!!! What a great printer..... may be big and heavy but the performance out weighs the size by far. No regrets and would purchase again when compared to the several other brands I've owned or worked with. Have never needed to use or call Tech Support.
Easy to set up Fine quality as Brother printers always are. A great value on replacement ink with Amazon. This is not a scanner, which is my own error in ordering without realizing that my old scanner would have to remain set up. It's fine - just a lot going on. the print quality is good, not so much on photos, but passable. I'm very happy with the printer. The set up on the iPhone was automatic. A little trickier on my Android.
Good Choice for Home or Small Office I got sick of inkjet print heads clogging up, the "cleaning" cycles not working, constant changing of cartridges, etc., so decided to treat myself to color laser, even though it's just for home office. Debated between Brother and HP, but since I'd been very pleased with my Brother MFC-8810DW (multi-function laser), I decided to go with Brother again. High Quality Printer with Easy Set Up So easy to set up. Prints from any wireless enabled device without downloading any drivers. We have had a brother black and while laser printer for over 10 years. It served us well but we should have upgraded the this one sooner! Print quality is great and it prints fast!!
Almost a 5 I normally would give this 5 stars as I love Brother products. Unfortunately, this item is much larger than I anticipated and thought the measurements stated. As I received the replacement toners prior to receiving the machine, I decided to keep it and place in a different location for use.

Even though it's more suited to fit in a business enviorment I got it for my home because I always wanted a laser printer for it's reliability and speed. Two things to keep in mind. It is on the large size, which is more in line to the laser printers you see in a corporate enviorment. It is certainly not a compact laser printer. Also, I got this for $349.00 from Amazon, so wait until the price drops before purchasing it.

Highly sensitive We purchased 3 of these printers for our business over the last couple of years. We like the print quality and ease of use.. But, the first one that we purchased (although I rarely use it) has decided that it has a "paper jam". We cannot find paper in it of any sort or size, anywhere. We are very disappointed that the printer has not lasted very long.
