I LOVE THIS PRINTER First of all, I own MANY printers, and I have owned about 20 different color laser printerS (HP, Xerox, older Brothers). I am a printer fanatic, and currently have about 8 in operation in my real estate office. I LOVE THIS PRINTER!!! Setup was very easy (for wireless printing), or for USB. but I really like it. I had an earlier model and it ... Have only had this printer for a few months, but I really like it. I had an earlier model and it was a work horse. The previous model had a lot of paper jam issues, that this one does not have - thankfully. I use a lot of different thickness paper in the multipurpose tray and it works like a champ. Couldn't be more pleased, so far.
Works as well as an HP laser with Apple through wireless, especially when hooked to an Airport Express through USB. I was an all A student of Graphic Design in the early 2000's which isn't easy to do. I wish I had, had this instead of my Epson. The epson gives more lifelike print quality for your portfolio, but everyone in the real world uses a laser for mock ups. Who has time to mess with an ink jet printer with clients. Color prints look really good, I mean After 1 month of office use with 8 users, it's working out really well. The printer works well with different types of paper configured for each tray and automatically pulls from the correct tray. Not too noisy or smelly (you know that old laser printer smell). Color prints look really good, I mean, you won't confuse them for a professional print, but they look good. No issues, no jams or anything yet.
Well worth the price. The printer prints well. It just takes a while to wake up and print. We love the dual tray for legal size paper. The view window is touch screen and easy to use and see.
Exceptional print quality We bought this printer to use as a dedicated letterhead printer at our office. It was easy to set up and works well. The print quality is fantastic - much better than the Xerox Phaser printers we've used the past few years. Highly recommended.
Five Stars Great Printer... Easy Setup... Fast printing (after warmup). Prints on cardstock without trouble. Best printer so far.

Printing envelopes? DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER! The print quality is decent on this machine - but if you want to print an envelope, buy something else! This is insane. Brother's "solution" is each time you want to print an envelope, you have to open the back of the printer, change two gray levers, print the envelope, and then switch the two gray levers back to normal, and close the back access. Horrible design....
