There needs to be a clock in the room. The bathroom needed to have the sink fixture replaced or tightened.

Want to be nickel and dimed? Nice hotel BUT they charge you for ECERYTHING. Want to check in 10 minutes before 4:00 there is a charge. Want to check out a few minutes late? Sorry a charge for that too. Honestly ridiculous and makes you feel not like a guest but a wallet. So unfortunate! There are other places in Blackhawk that are truly interested as you as a customer-stay there. Would not recommend!
The accommodations are old and run down. Our plumbing in the suite was bad, faucet broken and no water pressure.
I would have liked to give this at least a 4 star but am very disappointed after having an emergency and giving them ample time to get the room rebooked they refused our refund. We checked out by 6am and they had a sign up saying they had no rooms available so I know they booked that room and still kept our money! Very very disappointed and will never stay there again if that is how they treat people who have medical emergencies.
The computers were down and our check in was delayed. The staff did their best to facilitate our needs.
I will not be staying here again. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. What many people may not know is that this property is affiliated with the Lady Luck Hotel. Due to overbooking at the Horseshoe, the staff decided—without any communication—to move our reservation to Lady Luck. We were not given the option to cancel or even informed of the change.
