Typically on the opening night for any bar or restaurant, details with service or food are still being worked out. However, that was surprisingly NOT the case for the Hotshots Edwardsville location. The food was spot on....like they'd been open for years. They had tons of trainers from other locations there working with the permanent staff. the girls were very judgemental, did not feel welcomed AT ALL. & They forgot all my drinks (said they threw the ticket away? ) there was however one girl, "lex" that was very attentive, very respectful & seemed to actually enjoy her job. food was good, drinks were good once served finally, but over all 4/5 because I LOVED Alexis.
Rude management took away the fun atmosphere
Was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations given the circumstances. Jeff the bouncer surprisingly helped make our night. Will be back soon!
Rude staff and management from The door till we sat down! So we left and went elsewhere! Not to mention racist! Horrible service
Second visit to hot shots because the food and service were excellent the first time. Today the place not so busy. 2 or 3 tables at best. We chose a high top and my stool was clearly broken. Not only did our server acknowledge this...she did nothing! Didn’t even take it out if service! And I had to get my own “working” stool from the bar while she watched me move the broken stool to the side next to the trash can. She did not offer assistance in any way shape or form. this establishment is supposed to be a sports bar, Thursday night football was over run by what looked like a crowd of church going trivia playing yuppies.... so much for having a few cold ones and enjoying sports.. please change the name to Lame trivia bar!
