I have postponed Oakie’s free dental check up due to the heatwave. Our appointment was scheduled for 3.45 and the temperature was 34 degrees so I did not want to attend a non-urgent appointment which involves a car journey on a busy ring road with roadworks in place. I gave over 24 hours notice and the receptionist suggested rebooking once the heatwave has passed. So that’s the plan

I was able to get a same day emergency appointment for my sick cat, even though the staff were fully stretched. Wendy on reception is always patient and sympathetic.
