We are thrilled with our experience at Instinct. Casey (and all the staff) really got to know our pup, Ernie, and he learned a lot in his two weeks at camp. He now walks nicely on a leash, checks in with us regularly on and off leash and comes when called, even when he is distracted. We love Instinct's positive reinforcement approach and found the follow-up visits and exercises easy to understand and uphold. My rescue worked with/called Sarah Dixon for some of the harder cases we have in our program and despite myself and other volunteers being in the dog training field,we were looking for outside guidance from another professional. Sarah was amazingly kind and compassionate. She understood the difficulties we were struggling with as a rescue with dogs with serious behavioral issues. We worked with Maggie Withum and she was terrific! She took the time to understand what I was struggling with and she was committed to helping me reach my goals. She gave me manageable reasonable suggestions and helped Rosie and I to be successful! She was also AMAZING with Rosie and really appreciated her and all her quirks! I would strongly recommend Maggie! She has made a huge difference for me and Rosie!
We could not be happier with the results we now see after training with Sarah Dixon. Our rescue, Marley, was always lovable but very anxious and nervous around other dogs and new people. After only a few training sessions Sarah had him on track! We did the homework and it really worked. She not only trained Marley, but she also trained us! My husband and I had the pleasure of partnering with Sarah from Instinct Behavior to train our puppy. She started by attending puppy training camp.
