Unit FF01 I went to Store # 572 (Pullman in Costa Mesa) to meet an Offer Up buyer from out of the local area to buy a rare vintage chair I had in storage on May 17th at 12:00. To Whom it may Concern, I closed my Account in Sept. went to Tampa with my Son to Close it. They said they would empty unit for a charge, Then emailed a Bill in Jan. So it should have been Closed. In May I get a Bill for a $1,000. On Collections on my Credit? 5 Months and no Contact? Then a Collection Notice and a 35 % Fee for Going to Collections?. If it could be 0-stars. We had a wind storm back in December my units door was ripped out and left blowing in the wind Im pretty sure my units were the only ones damaged. Anyways I didnt get a email or a phone call from site management but rather from one of my neighbors! The gentleman sent my a picture of the damage, and the other units door wasnt ripped out but it had been pushed up by the wind. The fact that the management didnt bother contacting me is just lazy. This company in ********* ******** has integrity issues , fees were raised without knowledge, they watch u bringing merchandise in , I believe they raised your rates high to keep your merchandise or inventory ,rental was raised twice , and multiple times tried to go in my bank unauthorized,I was told one price what I owed , then manager tripled the price , stay away from this place !!!

I rented the storage unit from them about a week and a half ago and last night I had got an envelope on my storage unit door that stated pursuing the contract their terminating my determinating my contract and when I wouldn't ask the person up front what was the reason they said that they were not a good fit for me they didn't say anything else it didn't say that I've done anything wrong just that they were not a good fit for me and so I asked are they going to give me my money back they said no and again to me that seems wr... read more

I had to extend my payment because I got a new job. I called and spoke with the manager **** in the ******** road office. He agreed to work with me for this month, and told me he left notes in the computer. I had a nasty message from an employee named ******. I asked her if she had read the notes, and she said she had. She then got angry with me when I said darling I have already spoken to someone about this. If I could give 0 stars I would . Moved into my unit on 2/23 at one price and on 4/1 notified my unit price increased 35% my price went from ****** to ****** a month . I feel this is a very deceptive practice, get you in one price bait and switch . I have vacated my unit and will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THIEVES. WORST BUSINESS PRACTICE EVER!!!!!nnn

I paid the money due to extra space storage and they took the money for me it to vacate/move my personal items from their storage facility on a Sunday.( my only day that I am off work). Mind you I rented a U haul truck and paid for help to move me. I was not able to complete the move due the facility elevator was out of order and there was NO ONE available to let them know. So I was not able to move, had to return the rented truck ( I paid for and was not able to use it; for nothing), and money to vacate the premises. Now th... read more

My name is ******* *******and life storage has an infestation of rat and mouses. They make you feel guilty and assume that it’s something you did. In all my years of life I have never had this happen. Josh is the most belittling customer service front desk person. They take NO accountability or responsibility that they have an issue and I’m filing a complaint this is a hazard to my health and now my belongings.
