My pops came into town, so we decided to check out J-Prime Steakhouse together. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt upscale without being uncomfortable. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was elegant, and every course came out perfectly paced. We started with the amuse-bouche and enjoyed a couple of Woodford Reserves before dinner. Best steakhouse we’ve been to in many years. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The little things they provide before/between courses are a very nice touch. Excellent, friendly, and very attentive service. Highly recommend!
From the minute we walked in the door, we were treated like special guests. Everyone was attentive to us. Our waiter was Carlo and he was great! He was attentive, friendly, and professional! I had a wedge salad and my date had lobster bisque. We shared a ribeye, scalloped potatoes, and mushrooms. It was plenty for the two of us. We didn’t have room for dessert!

J Prime is the perfect restaurant for a birthday celebration. I felt very welcomed and celebrated all night long. The staff, food, and the ambiance made the night a success. I will definitely be back when I am in town next!
The bone-in NY strip was great and cooked to perfection. The au gratin potatoes were a standout.

Adam was excellent. He’s a sommelier and really elevated our experience at J Prime. He introduced us to some quality scotch and tequila, gave great recommendations, and made the night feel thoughtful without being over the top. Great service and a memorable experience overall.
