I was very impressed with my interaction with Jack Pixley Sweeps. The initial phone call to the office was very professional and the gal who answered my call was very informative. Dave came out to do the work. The exterior of my chimney is very deteriorated. He inspected the interior with a camera. He noted a couple of very minor cracks. He indicated that it would be safe to use, but I would want to have it inspected yearly to monitor the situation. Additionally, he installed a chimney cap.

Nick, Debbie, and Dave were an absolute pleasure to work with. They resolved an issue for me in the most expedient and professional manner that I would have expected. I am going to use Jack Pixley again to clean and inspect my fireplace. I recommend requesting the technician Dave if you have your fireplace cleaned and inspected.
The company representative stated that "at this time" they charge for home estimates. I'm at the Carver/Hennepin border and I cannot be certain if that played into their decision, but thought others might want to know when checking out this service provider. The rep was pleasant on the phone. Please note that this only reflects the inquiry for estimate, not work done.
