I chose Jack Pixley Chimney Sweep to perform the above listed services after price checking with several other recommended chimney sweep companies. The Jack Pixley Company was slightly more expensive than the other companies contacted, but I felt comfortable hiring them as I had in a previous year experienced good service from them. The old one was inoperable because you couldn't replace the chimney. The quality is beautiful. We have worked with them in the past when we had a wood-burning fireplace. They are very reliable and did a great job. They even stand behind all of their work and recommend we have a professional clean it once a year to prevent creating any issues. They're really in touch people and provide great service. They evencall you when they're on their way.

We were very pleased with the completed job. The company was able to work this project in as we were about to have reroofing done because of hail damage. We appreciated this. The mason and his crew were very personable, finished the work in a timely manner and did a great job of cleaning up. We would highly recommend them. <br />

Looked up the chimney. Did not go up on the roof to examine from the top down until I requested him too. Not happy that he took so little time in visually examining the chimney, handed me the check up bill and left. <br />
I contacted Jack Pixley Sweeps for service, as they are located near my home. Their cost estimate was competitive with others that I shopped, and their website looks professional. They sent a technician to my home, Evan. He spent a good amount of time on the job, cleaning out my chimney thoroughly and explaining to me what he did. We contacted the chimney sweeper after checking A's List, left a message andreceived a prompt response with a quote range and set a date for the work. They showed up on the day we agreed ( 2 -weeks after the call).They were respectful of our home, performed the work quickly, cleaned up after themselves and the fee was in the range they quoted.
