I wanted to share feedback about our recent visit to Joey Newport\. I took my wife there for her birthday based on great experiences at the Woodland Hills location, where food and service have always been excellent\. The visit started well with a friendly, welcoming hostess, but things went downhill after that\. One of my favorite restaurants in Newport, always a good time!
We took friends to Joey hoping to impress them, and it could not have gone better. Everything was excellent, from the food and drinks to the service. We were especially surprised by the energy on a Sunday evening. Joey feels less like a restaurant and more like a party. Being greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbly within seconds of walking in immediately sets the tone for a fun, memorable night. It’s the kind of place that makes any dinner feel like an occasion.
