The food, service and ambience is fabulous. It was our first time dining at JOEY. We highly recommend it.

It was surprisingly good. I had the Chilean Sea Bass, delicious. My husband had Steak Frites, eh. Design was eye candy, really done well. Acoustics were very loud per normal for a Newport Beach restaurant. Service was very good and fast. We’ll be back
Amazing team, great cocktails and food. Sheyda was so lovely and made us feel so welcome - we just moved into the area and she made us feel like we’ve found our new home base. Brennan, our server, is a treasure. We look forward to coming back again and again for the vibe and the friendliness… and the steak and raviolo Bianca was out of this world!

We had a disappointing experience at this location. We had reservation for four at 1 pm on 9/21/2025. We checked in at 1 pm and was told to wait until we’re called. We checked back at 1:15 pm when we noticed other parties of 4, who checked in after us, were being seated. The hostess informed us to be patient and asked us to wait longer. The service was excellent and the ambience was enjoyable. The servers were attentive and friendly, which we appreciated. I don’t have any complaints about the price, which was moderate for a party of five with no alcoholic beverages including the tip was about $700. My concern was that the food quality didn’t match. Dishes like the ravioli, sushi, and chicken parmesan reminded us more of store-bought food than what we expected from a restaurant experience.
We were ignored when we arrived at the restaurant even though we had reservations. Someone just stared at us then walked away. When we did get our food, it was good, but nothing to write home about. The price to quality ratio just wasn’t there.
