We took friends to Joey hoping to impress them, and it could not have gone better. Everything was excellent, from the food and drinks to the service. We were especially surprised by the energy on a Sunday evening. Joey feels less like a restaurant and more like a party. Being greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbly within seconds of walking in immediately sets the tone for a fun, memorable night. It’s the kind of place that makes any dinner feel like an occasion.
Our service started out great, but then fell off after we received our food. Also, it was my son’s birthday, and the hostess asked us if we were celebrating anything , which I told her we are, and our waitress did not end up acknowledging his birthday.
Joey Newport Beach was an amazing experience. Incredible staff, especially Matt our waiter and the hostess staff, and the food was vibrant and delicious. Joey Newport Beach is a 10 out of 10!
