Julia went out of her way to get us an excellent table. Zack over exceeded expectations delivering high quality service with customer service excellence. He went out of his way to ensure that we had a meaningful and memorable first experience at Joey Newport Beach. I would recommend he and Julia for any guest who chooses to dine at this establishment Maintaining authenticity while serving clients is an art when present, should be valued and commended.

Food was great. We were seated at a high top near the outdoor bar, which was surprising, as I made the reservation fairly early. We asked for a different table and were given a high top near the inside bar. There was no indication when I made the reservation that it would be a high top. Service was fine. The music was definitely too loud for dinner conversation. Perhaps if we had been in a booth, it would not have been so loud. I know for next time to call and clarify the type of table we are getting.
A very professional staff that provided seamless service from drinks to desert. The food was excellent.

Joey has become one of my go-to spots. I can always count on amazing food, exceptional service, great music selection, and incredible vibes. This will definitely keep me coming back!

The waitress was awesome!!! My daughter’s steak was on the rare side but other than that everything else was good.

It was fine. Nothing special. Truffle fries, tuna salad, poke bowl. Steaks. Nothing new.
We were celebrating my husband’s milestone birthday and the hostess confirmed this and said something special would be coming - I assumed a complementary dessert. However, the server never acknowledged our special occasion and nothing was done to mark the event. That was disappointing.
Joey is a fantastic dining experience. The staff is phenomenal and the food is phenomenal and the vibe is phenomenal! I wish it was a little quieter but to be honest it’s not annoying noise it’s lively noise. You can tell that everyone in the building is joyful being there and that’s a good thing. Every time I go to Joey I enjoy myself.
