Haley was amazing!! The service was amazing. They greeted us with champagne. They also brought us a free dessert for our anniversary, which was so sweet. The ambience is also amazing. The food is just on the pricier side. $34 for a poke bowl is pretty pricey, although it did have amazing flavor and was amazing!

Server needs to let you know if there’s an up charge with your meal! Overall 3 stars, food was ok not great!

Fantastic food and great service. Our group of six loved everything from drinks and appetizers to the main courses and we had zero complaints on taste or quality. Prices are a bit high for the portion sizes but it is Newport Beach so the higher prices aren’t a surprise. We will definitely be coming back. We ordered gyozas and sushi to start. It’s great place to celebrate any occasion and the is magnificent.
Our party of four enjoyed our first visit to Joey. The presentation of the food was exquisite. The quality of the food was aboveboard. Our only hesitation was that for two of us, the "heat" factor of the meal was a bit much. Our lettuce wraps included spicy chicken and the aioli accompanying the wraps was even hotter. We would have preferred a less "heated" sauce/dip for our wraps.
