check in process was inefficient and disorganized. once we were seated, service was amazing and food was incredible
Always love going to Joey in Newport. However this time, their reservation system was down and we waited about 45 minutes past our scheduled time. Things happen…. It’s the holidays.
Third time and it was just like the rest, great service and food.
Service was poor. Our server was not attentive and warm.
We had a reservation for four last night at Joey. It was super crowded as we arrived, but we were delighted to find when they led us to our table, it was not at all too noisy! A fun and happy early-holiday vibe going on. We had very good service throughout our evening. The food (4 separate meals) was delicious and everyone was so pleased with what they chose. Pricey for the ambience and food quality. There were two of us at the table. You cannot even hear across the table. It was so loud. So loud.
First time at this location and I was impressed with the quick service, despite it being a busy Friday night. It was pouring but the restaurant was wam and welcoming. We ordered the Joey steak and it was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend and I celebrated our second anniversary and were surprised with a complimentary dessert. Thank you!
One of my favorites in Newport Beach. 5 star service. Glass of bubbles upon entry. Food is amazing.
