Love this place!  great environment, great food, but service is OK. Everyone is very busy so they’re just running around but not a good quality service.
The food was amazing!!! Service was great! Definitely will be back!

Despite having a reservation we waited about 45 minutes to be seated this evening. Upon being seated and being asked, we were honest and said girls night was off to a rocky start. We had not even been offered our complimentary sparkling wine despite the long wait. Jay our server, took it upon himself to make the night better. He delivered on getting us the bubbles as well as then dealing with our variety of dietary restrictions with ease. We enjoy our meal and left in better spirits than how it started. Well done Jay!

Overall wonderful experience for my office staff. Everyone loved their food and drinks, the staff was accommodating to a late add on to the reservation and the atmosphere was very lively. With any busy and popular restaurant there are bound to be wait times and sometimes lag with the servers checking on you, but overall these were minor things and everyone in my party was enjoying themselves so it didn’t lessen our experience. I would definitely dine here again, I look forward to it!

It was our first visit to JOEY Newport Beach, and we were not disappointed. The ambiance was beautiful, and we were greeted with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine! We were quickly seated and attended to by a very friendly server. The food we ordered was delicious! Salmon Nicioise Salad, Steak and Lobster Spaghetti, and the Chilean Sea Bass. We finished off the meal with the Apple Pie. We definitely plan to return again soon!

Food was very good. Noise level was a bit loud inside but okay. Lively. Service needs help. Waited too long for water and very long for water refills. Martini was served in a champagne glass, not a martini glass and was not full. Waited too long for a second glass of wine. Waited way too long for a side of Parmesan cheese (which should have been served with the chicken parm dinner).
