10/10 recommend! Made a reservation and arrived 20 minutes early and we were still seated immediately! The wait staff was so attentive. I highly recommend the spicy crab dip shareable, it is AMAZING! I ordered the chicken Parmesan for my meal and it was cooked to perfection! For my cocktail I enjoyed a Woodford reserve old fashioned and it was fantastic! If you need a place to eat in Newport Beach, Joey is the place to go!
In general the food was great, in terms of the service some waiters were very nice other seem to have a bit of an attitude and not be too happy to serve us at the bar which made the experience not as nice.
Our waitress was beyond helpful and for her to work on such a big party by herself, she did a fabulous job.
The sea bass and salmon are amazing and it is always a pleasure to dine at Joey. It is also nice to be able to have a glass of pahlmeyer chardonnay.
Food was great, unfortunately we had an 8:45 reservation and they skipped over us. Had to go up and say something at 9:30 then we got sat immediately afterwards. Sitting around for 45 minutes after your reservation is excessive. Not super happy
Our pre-Tday celebration with family was so special, delicious, and fun, my son immediately booked a return visit for Christmas Eve late lunch❣️Can’t wait, service was outstanding, too!
One of the best meals I’ve had! They have the best Hummus ever! The Mediterranean bowl and the Truffle Udon were outstanding! We were helped by Haley who is the sweetest and went above and beyond to address our needs and gave us the best recommendations!
Overall, good experience. If I had to say anything, they never asked if we wanted anything to drink when we were seated. But admittedly, this was very minor.
I came to Joey to celebrate my birthday, and Jay absolutely made the night unforgettable. We visit often, and I can confidently say he is the best server we’ve ever had here. From the moment we sat down, Jay was warm, attentive, and incredibly on top of everything. My brother goes through drinks quickly, and Jay never missed a beat, refills appeared before we even had to ask.
