I used JPL Process Service to serve a defendant in a small claims case. The service occurred promptly and I received the proof of service in my mail box within a week. Before I used their services I did a Google search and used the first process server that picked up the phone (the third one listed). Jeff @ JPL Process Service was great. I emailed the papers to him. Within two days, the four parties were served. For an additional small charge, JPL filed the service with the court. Jeff is very helpful, friendly, easy to deal with. I hope I never have to take legal action again, but if I do, I'll use Jeff @ JPL.

I hired this company to perform process service for an upcoming court hearing scheduled for March 9, 2026 at 9:30 AM. On the morning of the hearing, I contacted the company to obtain the status of service and any service attempt information. Because the court required detailed information regarding service attempts, a court clerk also contacted the company seeking the dates and times of any attempts. The client ordered services that were started and completed. All documents were provided to her in a timely manner. Her statements regarding the handling of this matter are inaccurate. Additionally, court clerks do not contact process servers requesting status updates on service attempts. The client's dispute appears to stem from dissatisfaction with the outcome of her case, not from any failure on our part to perform the services ordered. JPL Process Service charged my card for the same transaction three times. After the second time, they gave me a refund and I was told my payment information had been removed and that I would not be charged again. After the third, time, I filed a complaint with the California Attorney General's Office and with the BBB (though they are not a BBB-accredited business).

The client stated that she had uploaded a photo to the site; however, our records show that no photo was submitted during the job intake process. It was only after the service attempt that she indicated a photo had been sent. Once a photo was later provided, it confirmed the identity of the subject. I do NOT recommend this company! Lots of lies & unprofessional lip service! Sent a random package full of sticker instead of the requested subpoena papers hired for! Seriously move on to the next attorney services or face an expensive disappointing result & costumer service!

By far the worst organization i have worked with. i hired them to serve 3 defendants (that are located at the same address) in Chicago as i'm located in CA. i hired them and paid for the services i need on dec 18. i didn't get the first report until dec 30 which says: date: 12/24/2025 time: 10:44 am address attempted: (redacted) the gate to the main door is locked. side gate to two units is unlocked. i went and knocked. no answer. male came down and said the two are air bnb's. when asked for montoya, the male stated that (d... read more

this is a real review , not the fake ones that have 5 stars. find somewhere else, do not waste your money and time for this service, all they do just collect your money and send you notice they can not contact the person need to be served.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. They were not able to serve the legal documents AND STILL CHARGED! Other services do not charge or provide a guarantee. I DO NOT recommend using this service. STAY AWAY! Look for another legal service. They get ZERO stars.

We are a flat-rate company, Lauri, and do not offer a "guaranteed" service. We offer a flat-rate service for a certain number of attempts to a single address, all of which are clearly stated on our website. It might have been better to send an email with your questions before hiring another service company and then trying to get out payment for a service you ordered and rendered following the directions you provided. Hopefully, you do not need to use a process server again. Thank you!
