Don't understand the hype. I came here, by myself, and was told it would be about 40 minutes. It took an hour, which would have been ok if I didn't watch groups that checked in after me get sat before me. $12 for an omelette that was half the size you would get most anywhere. The ingredients in the omelette where very little. There was no taste, not good at all. The service was even worse, once the food came she never came back. Don't waste your time coming here. I would not give it any stars if it allowed.

Would have happily rated a 4, however the hostess was a true Karen as she picked and choose what patrons she would harass about the face mask. I get it we need to wear the mask to the table. As we sat and waited for our table I witnessed her hassle some and ignore other mask-less customers. Harass to the point that folks walked out. If you have a rule great but be consistent. Appeared to be an odd sort of power trip. Beyond those observations the food was good but the service was excruciatingly slow.

Awful. Food came out barely warm. Hash browns were just sliced potatoes barely warmed up. Omelette had something they called Cheddar Cheese in it but it looks and tasted more like Vaseline...no flavor. Toast was not toasted, or barely toasted. So the butter they put on it turned it into a soggy mess. Servers are very nice. Better to go someplace else.

Terrible experience! We recently moved to the area and had been excited to try out this spot for a few months now. Each time we popped by there was a long line outside, which we thought meant amazing food inside. Well...we were in for a surprise! I've never had to spit out a pancake...or need muscles to cut through a waffle...until I dined at Keke's. My waffle was soo tough and flavorless, I let the server know to please change my order. Not worth the money or time it took to basically eat pancakes, eggs and home fries. Took nearly 45 minutes to get our food, the waitress was so busy she was pretty short and snapped at us a few times when we asked a couple of questions regarding menu items as neither of us had ever been to Keke's before, and the atmosphere itself was really off-putting. **PROBABLY NOT GOING BACK FOR A WHILE** My family and I are regulars and frequent Kekes in South Lakeland often. So much so that when I was there today, 11/24/2018, several employees welcomed us and said hello. This place is usually PACKED so I knew we were in for a bit of a wait. I am going to start this by saying... customer service will make you or break you! Arrived about 10:20 AM for 1 seat. I was told it would be about 15 minutes. When I walked back in to see what was taking so long, it was 10:53 AM. And the table that the hostess told me I could have when I first came in to get put on the list was AVAILABLE! Funny when I was there the service was miserable even though the place was empty. The eggs were cold and hard as a rock. I refused to eat it and left.

Small portions and too high priced for quantity of food .I mean seriously I thought we were being punk'ed on tv or something. ordered the French toast and received 4 , 2-inch diamonds sprinkled with powered sugar.
