Did not enjoy this stay. Got in late and wanted to watch a little tv but the batteries were dead in the remote. Went to take a shower and there was no hot water so couldn’t do that either. And even if we did get a shower we were only given 1 towel for 2 people. Room and hotel in general needs better upkeep.
We rented for two days. The room's floor was sticky, the toilet was dirty, and the TV didn't work; it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. We couldn't stay for a second day; there was only one elevator, and my room was at the far end of the hall, which had stairs. The restrooms in the lobby were dirty and foul-smelling.

I’m extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We came to New Jersey for my daughter’s birthday weekend and planned to enjoy Nickelodeon with my kids, so I was really hoping the hotel would make the trip comfortable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, it did the opposite. When we arrived in our room, there was a strong cigarette smoke smell even though we were supposed to be in a non-smoking room. I strongly recommend that travelers carefully verify the current condition of this property before booking. My experience at Ramada by Wyndham Fairfield NJ was extremely disappointing and unsafe. The room I received did not match the room or overall quality shown in the Expedia listing. The advertising appeared significantly different from the actual property and room. Dirty establishment, elevator smells terrible, hallways smell bad, room is clean but the overall smell isn't great, the worst part was the entrance, the elevator, and the hallways.
