Black Hawk/Central City one nighter Check-in went smoothly. Dan was at the desk, and he was friendly and efficient. He answered my questions to my satisfaction. The room was nice except there was no bar soap in the bathroom. They have dispensers in the shower for soap etc. The bed was OK comfortable. I didn't gamble or eat at the hotel/casino opting instead to go over to Central City for the evening.

Black Hawk hotel stay! Unbelievable that we had to pay a $16.95 additional fee for services which did NOT include a pool, hot tub, nor weight room. I asked what this fee was for and I was told it was for the coffee pot and 2 small bottles of water in our room. What a joke as those items are included as complimentary in other hotels! We won’t be staying there again. Also, most casino hotels offer complimentary rooms after you’ve stayed there as well as gambled there but we still haven’t received anything complimentary.
