Putting a dog to sleep instead of letting it live and working with the owner is down right sicking. You should be shut down, your not in it for the pets, your in it for the money

I know someone that has just had set backs due to COVID-19. Their little dachshund was pregnant & when this lady returned from work was having complications with delivering the pups. She rushed her to THIS unconcerned veterinarian that cared more about money than the care and life of this precious baby and her pups or this family that loved their pet so much! The lady told the veterinarian that if they would save her little dog she could make regular payments to them but THIS veterinarian wouldn’t accept payments and said... read more

Took me a little while to post this without crying 😢. Lily became pregnant. When covid was running through our home for 6 weeks we kept missing the appointment to get them fixed cause of quarantine we kept missing. So lily went in heat while in quarantine and Opie and lily (my two dachshunds )connected we tried keeping them separated but he ended up getting her anyway. Last Monday lily went in labor before I went to work and I was thinking I would come home and we would have puppies. But when I got home Lily had not had the... read more

Business response:

Tara, we are so sorry for your loss. We understand how hard it is to say goodbye to a beloved furry family member. Please know that the safety and well-being of our patients is always our number one priority. We did offer a few different options, which were unfortunately declined, and also reached out to anther emergency vet on your behalf. We would be happy to review the records and all recommendations made, should you wish to give us a call. Again, please know you are in our thoughts during this time.

I can't believe that you all have not invested in a generator How do your vets think that they can handle emergency cases without power? This is incompetence and false advertising. I called early Wednesday asking if you all had generator power just in case I needed a place to bring my dog, but was told that you all do not because you clinic has never lost power. If your clinic is an actual full service facility, then it would seem obvious that a generator would have been purchased to run at least the hospital. If people have... read more

Words do not describe how shocked and happy Iam with this vet. This is the 2nd day my Reece has been sick. She’s been kept here on IV for fluids. We travel with our dogs, but reside here in Lafayette. . And they’ve been to different vets and no vet or vet employees can even compare to this vet. I never knew about Lafayette vet care clinic and I wish I would have found it sooner. I’m never comfortable leaving my pets anywhere over night. I actually feel so much better for my Reece being here overnight. I get numerous updates... read more

Business response:

We sure ❤️ Reece!!! Thank you for your recommendation, Jennifer!

Marc BORDELON very unprofessional to yell at a woman struggling with a large dog and a handicapped son. Guess it makes some men feel more like a man to yell at a defenseless woman. News flash it just shows your immaturity.

Business response:

Nadine, we take your feedback seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your concerns in more detail. Unfortunately, we are unable to identify you as a client based on the account name this review is posted from, so we kindly ask that you give us a call at your convenience. 337-984-7611

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE🤬This is the SECOND time this happens. My Ragdoll went in for her “wellness checkup” & 3.5 hours later & a $365 charge she comes home with CRAP all over her rear end. Explanation given...”we tried to clean her but felt threatened so put her in her pet taxi” with CRAP ALL IN HER LONG FUR! They sent her home DIRTY & didn’t clean her....we had to clean her!!! ...REALLY???SHE was SEDATED so how THREATENING can a 12 pound cat be to TRAINED PROFESSIONALS??? This has happened TWICE🤬🤬😡😡🤬🤬 We won’t be g... read more

Business response:

We sincerely apologize that this was your experience. Animals can be unpredictable when waking up from sedation, even with our trained professionals. We choose safety for all (pets and people) before and above anything else. It is, however, our mission and hope that our team and clients trust that leaving a pet in this condition isn't our standard. We're incredibly sorry you and your pet were left in this situation, one that 'making it up to you' is likely too little too late. Please accept our sincerest apologies for this c... read more
