While I have nothing by great things to say about the veterinary staff here, I cannot say the same about their boarding facility. We boarded our dog for the first time and decided to go here since we had such fabulous veterinary experiences. Our fur baby left the boarding facility with a burnt and blistered scrotum from what they believed the cause was being on their turf for too long. He now is suffering from kennel cough, and it has also spread to our other dog. $450+ later and we are still on the mend from boarding almost... read more
I called and spoke with Maddie at Lafayette Veterinary Care Center to book resort services for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I made this call November 29th. My vet office called me for permission to share records. I gave them the okay. Here we are December 20th when I called to verify pick up times that Lafayette Veterinary Care Center never booked it and failed to reach out to me because they hadn’t received an electronic copy of shot records!! I am beside myself that they never called me to tell me!!!!!!! How would I ha... read more
All they care about is money they are heartless and disrespectful.
Worse experience of my life Emergency visit they will charge you waaaaay to much for a I dont know what is wrong with your dog diagnoses then want to keep over night and charge over 700. treat you like a dang criminal and literally try to hold your dog hostage until you do pay!! I had to forcefully take my dog from the tech in exam room my bill was paid in full up front already but that goes to show you no compassion just want money! I would have felt better paying the extremely high bill if wasn't treated like a criminal.... read more
Worst experience of our lives. We brought our dog after an emergency over the weekend because it was the only place open near us. Starting with the lack of communication constantly between the receptionists, nurses, and doctors. We never once received direct answers on what was going on with our dog. After 3 procedures we are still left without answers and will have to follow up with our normal vet because they stated we need to go our “separate ways.” Would not recommend sending your dog their for emergencies. Horrible expe... read more
Bad experience with groomer.
couldn't get meds for other animals even tho I work with a 301c rescue and could prove that my 2 other animals have valid records..and 4 day's after wound care of an abandoned animal I pd 1,000 up front was sick again and wounds had to be drained by another vet more cost again! 💔 don't work well with the situation was not happy...back to my vet never should have used them but was convenient for my fosterer while I work my way to recover my new rescue I'm adopting
We have traveled from Eunice 2 times. They have billed us for over $600 and we still don't have a diagnosis or the courtesy of a simple call back. Think twice before you trust you fur baby with this veterinarian center. They don't care about anything but money.
Our dog was in their care for a week and was returned to us vomiting, and passing blood clots in his urine from a severe kidney and bladder infection. His vet said it was either from severe dehydration or holding his urine for prolonged periods. During the week he was in their care, we received 2 pics and the update that he was eating and drinking just fine. When I returned to LVCC the day after pickup for answers, I was told he was aggressive and had no physical interaction. So, we need to find out why nobody noticed blood ... read more
