I had a savings account set up with them, for quite some time. I was forced to withdraw most of it as sometimes people must do, given financial circumstances. Recently, my quarterly statement came. It stated that due to inactivity for 3,6 months, whatever it was, a fee was charged, extracting the $10.38 I had left in it, leaving a balance of ****. Thanks, but no thanks. I can bank elsewhere! Their customer service has become the worst I have seen in 45 years of dealing with financial institutions. As stated by others the new phone structure is the worst. It used to be that you could have most any issue or question resolved within 15 minutes or less. Now expect 45 minutes to an hour plus on the ignore status. Don't elect to get a call back, because it won't happen. Don't go to a financial advisor because they are there to rip you off and just make a buck for them selves. They continue to withdraw money from your account after your loan is paid off. Avoid if possible

there was a time when Landmark had the best service. Not so much anymore. I have been with landmark for near 40 years, But about 2 years ago the service is horrible. If you try to reach them on the phone, you can plan on a lengthy wait on hold. If you select having them call you back, forget it they won't. Their loan officers are bordering on beligerant. and the web site, with 2 major updates in 2 years. I no better than it was before. In fact you could make the case it isn;t as good. Back in December of 2021, our joint checking account was hacked. More than $1,000 was charged to a crypto currency website. I received an alert from Landmark, asking if this was me. I called to let them know it was a fraudulent charge. The charge was still pending, but despite all of this they would not stop the transaction. I was told by three different employees that we had to cancel our debit cards, let the charge clear, and then open a case to try to get our money back. Buyer beware!!! If you apply for a loan they will require you to open a savings account. My local credit union had an offer to transfer my loan with Landmark to them with a better interest rate. My bank took care of the whole process. Little did I know, I had a savings account with a little money in it. Well, after a given point in time Landmark began charging an account inactivity fee until the account was empty. I can't be the first person that had this happen... My wife and I had a auto loan with this company since 2017. We recently traded in our vehicle and bought another, the vehicle was paid in full. We were sent a nasty letter, I contacted them and spoke to a mrs W******* and was treated horribly and was threatened that they would ruin my credit. Worst finance company my fiancé ever dealt with. My fiancé n I requested to refine our loan and get my name off the car before I started to shop around for a house. Almost 5 week later, still no papers. It took my fiancé n i to finally go in there after countless amount of times of trying to get in contact with our loan officer.
