Dr. Strubel is not only a friendly and wise vet, she is extraodinary in her out reach to homeless animals and the work she has done with rescues. Now she does chiropractic too! Can I tell you, with an older dog who has back problems I was so happy that Dr. Strubel offers this service! She helped my dog by offering alternatives to surgery such as Physical therapy that we could do at home with a Bosu ball. All of it has helped. I was also fortunate that Linda Mar has there own ultrasound machine to help determine a life threat... read more

Staff is super friendly and I highly recommend either Dr. Thistlewaite and Dr. Strubel, both are awesome and have treated our 2 dogs with great care. My wife and I used to go to Pacifica Pet Hospital but had few bad experiences, so we switched and I am so glad we did. Pet care is never cheap, but their prices are very competitive and they throw in a lot of freebies while you're there, that goes a long way with me, I don't feel so nickel and dimed. Keep up the good work, we'll be back sooner than later I'm sure. Also, they w... read more

I've been going to the veterinarians at Linda Mar Veterinary Hospital for almost ten years now and they have never let me down! Five stars for quality of care - they have seen me through complicated life-threatening situations with both of my elderly bichon frises --- and helped just as happily with training the Sheltie puppy to accept restraint and nail trims. Five stars for compassion and concern - I've never gone in there without vet and staff inquiring about all my dogs. They do the very best they can to get emergenc... read more

I have been taking all of my pet's to Linda Mar Veterinary Hospital since 1990, and I cannot express how wonderful all of the Dr's & staff are. They took care of my beagle for 13 years, and when it was time to cut her leash & set her free, they came to my house to put her to sleep. I have another beagle buddy now, and they are giving him the same wonderful care & love!! At times the wait time for a scheduled appointment can be rather long. While I believe that this is partially due to the level of care that is given to you... read more

Consistently puts a smile on my face and my worries at ease. THIS is how a veterinary clinic is supposed to be. My rottie and I have seen our fair share of clinics in the area that just don't get it. Everytime I would bring my rott in to have something examined I felt I was being needlessly fleeced of my $$ and kept in the dark about what exactly was going on. I don't have a problem paying to take care of my dog if something is NEEDED, but I kept getting the feeling non-car people get bringing their vehicle into a mechanic.... read more

We rescued a Jack Russell Terrier from Robbins Russell Rescue and I took her for a wellness exam to Linda Mar. Dr. Cucaro did not charge for the exam since the dog was a rescue. Very generous! When I took her back to have some teeth pulled and cleaned, she also did not charge for the exam. She was very patient answering my questions and concerns.

Absolutely outstanding! This has been not only my families, but my room mates veterinary hospital of choice for years. On Labor Day while my room mate was in Texas one of his dogs became gravely ill. I rushed him to VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists for an emergency visit. Unfortunately Rocky needed to be put down. Word got around to Linda Mar Veterinary Hospital and they called my room mate to offer their support and also sent a card in the mail with their condolences. Who else does that? I'm actually choked u... read more

After spending thousands of dollars at another veterinary clinic where my cat experienced two complete urinary blockages, I decided it was time to look for a new doctor. Our old vet was fond of a "let's wait and see" policy when it came to my cat's health. My cat was well on his way to his third blockage when Dr. Strubel took proactive measures to prevent it. My cat is a chronic crystal making machine and prescription food was not enough to remedy his problem. After taking some urine acidifying pills and anti-inflammatory me... read more

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats which are regular visitors to Linda Mar dog clinic and the cat clinic across the highway. Even though the clinics come with a wait time, the staff is great at moving everyone through in a timely manner and the costs are affordable compared to other vets in the area. Have nothing but good things to say about Linda Mar Vet and would recommend this pet hospital to anyone!
