When my dog was alive, we took him here all the time. They always seemed to be friendly and try to find all the problems with him. The only problem, is that everytime we went in there, we left with new medications and it got to be very expensive. This vet was also helpful and supportive when we had to put our dog down....

I read the reviews below and was impressed with how well-treated clients are. I called today to make an appointment and was able to schedule one for both of my pups for tomorrow. That's quick service! I am very excited to be going to this clinic because it seems like my pups will get excellent service. I will write another review once I actually go tomorrow.

This clinic was recommended to me by the SF SPCA. Called to make an appointment and they were very helpful on the phone and offered me a same-day appointment. I was greeted by friendly staff, and even though my appointment was late in the day, they saw me on time. Dr. Falcis was extremely professional and accomodated my needs to balance quality care with cost concerns. Their services were reasonably priced and it was a very positive experience. I will definitely come back here for animal care

This is the vet to go to!!!!!! It starts when you walk in the door, the staff that greets you is always extremely friendly. the doctors are always on time. The vet I always get is Dr. Strubel. She is fantastic. She always answers all of my questions and her recomendation have been perfect for my dog from food to which puppy school to take him to. My dog loves going there, I think if he could talk he would tell me to take him there just to hang out!!!!

Linda Mar Vet Hospital SAVED ME in a very traumatic event! I feel so thankful for their kindness. I went through the most traumatic event ever! My dog was dying and it was my regular vet's day off. I called vet after vet and the receptionist at each vet was so rude. I was asked if I was a regular customer and then turned away by vet offices over and over again. Finally I called Linda Mar and they told me to come in immediately. My dog died and they wrapped her in a blanket with flowers. They never mentioned the bill ... read more

Every Tues night is vaccination (without exam) for dogs 7-8pm. All the regulars know to go between 7:30-7:45pm that is when the crowd thins out. $17 and change for kennel cough vaccine, 10 min in and out, fantastic! Receptionist, greeter, and all staff friendly even though they were laughing at my big baby dog. Embarrassing for me to bring in a 100lb american bulldog shaking like a leaf. "thanks to the staff here at LMVH and coastal cat clinic our 3 geriatric kitties had long great quality lives. They always caught health conditions timely and helped us learn how to best care for our aging kitties as their treatments became more complicated. They have always been very caring to our dogs. They helped me locate a rescuer when I found a cat I couldn't keep (although it became moot; long story) and offered many free resources when we lost our oldest dog. They take time to explain their recommendations and findings in intelligent layperson's terms. The staff always remembers our Perdito (and remembered Gizmo) when I schedule appointments, and seem happy to renew the acquaintance. We stopped at Linda Mar Vet on the day after Christmas because our Pomeranian had an extremely painful problem. They were booked solid, but after a little persuasion from the dog (sad brown eyes and a big wail), they said they'd work him in. Within 20 minutes, the doctor had not only helped our little guy's problem, but spotted another potential health issue that we followed up on with our regular vet.
