This was a terrible moving experience. The 3 movers that were sent to us clearly didn't know what they were doing. They arrived late. They were supposed to bring a 30 foot truck and only brought a 20 foot truck. We ended up having to do 2 trips. They just threw our stuff in the storage unit. I asked for the storage unit to be organized and they just ignored me. Many of our pieces ended up damaged. I was able to book a move short notice which was great; however, the company messed up the moving date due to miscommunication between the company and their movers, so that changed my scheduled move date from Tuesday to Wednesday. The actual move wasn't terrible, but the movers left behind several items that I asked them to include in the move. They also broke the foot of my bedroom dresser and never mentioned it. This move was the worst move that I have ever experienced. I was told that they would send a 26’ truck. They only sent a 20’ truck. All of my items wouldn’t fit on the truck. I called the company several times during the move. I was originally told that they would go back and get the rest of my things after the first trip. They just left. They had other jobs booked. A big letdown. John, the customer service rep is the only good thing about the way this company does business (thank you John). I was notified that there was a problem with the truck assigned to my move at 11pm the day before my move. 11pm! But, no updates were given in the morning on the day of the move. I was waiting and waiting for hours, but there were no apologies or information provided. Be professional. Be efficient. Be better. Have SOME kind of quality control. Have SOME idea of what customer service entails. Make sure your final bill isnt 2 1/2 times the amount of your estimate. Let customers know how bad you really are. Dont tear up walls. Dont damage furniture. And dont hang out, sing, pretend to preach, or have social commentary all on the customer’s dime. Also, make sure the truck shows up ON TIME, and not 5 1/2 hours later. Get this part figured out; and maybe you’ll get repeat business.
Extremely disappointed, a day after my move I discovered my bed wasn’t assembled properly they left two of the posts under the bed. Also the lead forgot the tools and I had to run to Walmart to buy them. Would not use again.
Pros: Enthusiastic young men who were friendly Cons: I was charged triple what I was quoted. I had to pay for the company’s inability to properly communicate the 7am start time to their dispatched team. They started at 8 am. The young men didn’t own up to it initially but damaged the siding of those house while moving furniture (on video footage). They also damaged my bookshelf in transit. Don’t fall for the okie doke! 3 movers @ 200/hr is a waste of hard earned money. I asked how long to move a three bedroom house (listing the items) and was told to book 3-4 hours (= $800) with three men because “we suggest adding more than not adding enough. We want happy customers.” I know it’s an ESTIMATE as they remind you a over and over, but how did we get to 7 HOURS and $1400?? IT’S THE EVERYTHING “INCLUDED”!!! Don’t fall for it! Absolutely the worst moving experience I’ve ever been apart of. Broken item, dirtied my home and went way over the price quoted. Arrived 4 hours later than promised, didn’t bring the packing materials they where supposed to bring. This company is not professional at all. Did not assemble my beds complimentary like website said was included. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
